With so many negative and unrealistic connotations attached to the word sexy, you may not know how to truly be sexy. Being sexy is not about being promiscuous and looking like a supermodel. Being sexy is a combination of looking good, feeling confident, and being happy. Any woman can be sexy by following these steps.
Take care of your body. You don’t have to be super skinny to be sexy; weight and figure do not always equate with health. The important thing is to look and feel healthy inside and out. Find some physical activity you enjoy, eat healthy food, and get rest. You will look younger, happier, and more energetic.
Take care of your appearance. Dress to your body type, dress well, and dress your age. Groom yourself: smell good, put on a little makeup, and brush your hair. [For help in this area, watch TLC’s What Not to Wear.]
Learn how to flirt. The best way is to smile and be a fun, friendly, sincere person. Also, be feminine--that doesn't mean girly-girl, just not masculine. Be affectionate and learn what turns on your man.
Develop your personality. Be the best version of yourself. Don’t underestimate the power of inner beauty: people who gossip, can’t control their temper, or are selfish, shallow, fake, unintelligent, immature, or mean are not sexy. Furthermore, have hobbies and goals. You will be more interesting and involved in life.
Have self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-love. If you believe you are sexy, then you are. You will have a certain attitude and appearance that says, “I’m sexy and I know it!” You will carry yourself differently and command positive attention wherever you go.
